Interested in Becoming One of CYO's Volunteer
Mentors?
- Can you easily develop a rapport with teens and
young adults? Are you also a great listener,
patient, flexible, and dependable? Are you
at least 21-years-old with a clean criminal history
who is living a clean and sober lifestyle?
If so, you may be one of those special people eligible
to become a CYO Volunteer Mentor.
- All CYO Mentors must pass a rigorous screening,
including fingerprinting, and attend training sessions.
CYO Mentors first get to know our youth during the
weekly group mentoring activities and field trips
that combine recreational and sports activities
with life skills development. CYO Mentors
are eventually matched with a youth with whom they
feel a mutual connection. For more information,
