School Based Services:

CYO provides school based services for youth between the ages of 14 and 17 years attending the Day Reporting Center and Forward Bound Academy. Service include; Truancy Reduction Services, Life Skills Groups and Behavior Modification reinforcement. Services are provided Monday – Friday, 8am-4:30pm -year round.

Youth Intervention/Case Management Services:

CYO conducts Gang Awareness Class “GAP” for youth ages 14-17 years referrals from Juvenile Probation. These services are provided at the CYO facility, on a Saturday once a month from 9 am to 4pm. There is a $25 class fee.

CYO Conducts Parenting Education Classes, Social/ Family Recreation Activities and Case Management Services. The parents and/or parents to be are between the ages of 14-25 years and have been referred by Parole or Juvenile Probation. The program is 12 weeks in duration and participants can earn a certification with completion.  

Incarcerated Youth Services:

CYO conducts Life Skills/Gang Awareness Groups in Sonoma County Juvenile Hall servicing youth within several Juvenile Hall units on a weekly basis. The purpose of the groups is also to initiate community re-entry discussion and planning with youth and their families.

Training and Consultation Services:

CYO conducts community/parent gang awareness and staff development training on a scheduled basis for government and no
nprofit agencies in Fresno County.  CYO also consults with other service providers on gang’s trends and service delivery strategies.
